The X-Men franchise has been a part of popular culture for more than 20 years, with the first Bryan Singer film premiering in 2000. There's plenty for fans to catch up on if they haven't seen the movie, but also a nice catalog to recognize if they're already a fan. Most of the films have followed the franchise's most beloved superpowered characters, such as Wolverine, Professor X, Deadpool, and Magneto. These films all explore how discrimination and prejudice work, and how and why genes with different bodies and abilities can arise. It would be fun to re-watch the existing 10 movies (some more than others), but where can you find them online?
This question is more complicated than fans expected, thanks to the tortuous path the X-Men franchise has followed. Things were largely settled when Disney bought Fox in 2019, but many newer films are still bound by various pre-existing contracts. While all but one of the X-Men movies are available on Disney+, those without the streaming service can cobble together an X-Men marathon by hopping on creative streaming services or paying for rentals and purchase.

X-Men (2000) - Disney+
In 2000, the X-Men (followed by Tobey Maguire's first Spider-Man movie two years later) essentially kicked off the modern superhero movie craze. The movie features a star-studded cast that includes Patrick Stewart as Professor X, James Marsden as Cyclops, Halle Berry as Storm, Ian McKellen as Magneto and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
This movie introduces us (and Logan/Wolverine) to Xavier's school of geniuses, and the X-Men's struggle for tolerance and equality in a world in turmoil as they confront Magneto and his mutant brotherhood unremitting struggle. X2: X-Men United (2003) - Disney+
X2 introduces a new villain named General William Stricker (played by Brian Cox) who wants to wipe out all mutants on Earth by capturing and using Professor X himself . The film also delves into Wolverine's backstory, most of which he doesn't remember from the first film.
Received better reviews than its predecessor, X2: X-Men United grossed more than $400 million. Now, fans can stream it on Disney+. For those who want to own a personal copy of X2, the movie can be rented or purchased on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube, and more for $3.99 per rental or $14.99 per purchase.

X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) - Disney+
Although the predecessor, "X-Men: The Last Stand", did not perform well under new director Brett Ratner (Brett Ratner). A cure for the mutated gene is said to have been found, and everyone involved must find their own meaning in the possibility. The Phoenix Force was introduced when the X-Men were struggling with their vision of the cure and its dangers.
Despite being one of the most popular storylines in the X-Men comics, Dark Phoenix did not fare well in this adaptation, which may explain why another attempt was made to adapt the storyline 13 years later. Like its predecessors, X-Men: The Last Stand is available on Disney+. It also offers rental options in most digital marketplaces, with the movie costing $3.99 per view and $9.99 to buy (on Amazon, Google Play, and YouTube).

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) - Starz
Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Without a doubt, this is the standout character of the original series. Despite his meeting with the Striker in X2: X-Men Alliance, Wolverine and audiences still have a lot of questions, and the movie attempts to address them. Audiences learn how and why Wolverine/Logan lost their memory, although the movie was not as well received as the first two X-Men installments.
Since this is the first movie to feature both Deadpool and Wolverine, fans may be eager to rewatch Deadpool 3 before it hits theaters. The film is an exception to the X-Men franchise, as X-Men Origins: Wolverine is only available on Starz or DirecTV. Luckily, Starz is available as a channel add-on for Prime Video.

X-Men: First Class (2011) - Disney+
X-Men: First Class attempts to explore the past and origins of other X-Men, not just Wolverine. In particular, the film focuses on Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender), from Magneto's experience in World War II to the pair's first attempt to unite a group of mutants to become X-Men.
The team ended up having to play a big role in the Cuban Missile Crisis, fans are starting to find out Learn how "old friends" had a major quarrel that will haunt them and the team forever.

The Wolverine (2013) - Disney+
Logan's long life haunts him again, as his second solo adventure takes him back to Japan, a country he hasn't been to since serving as a soldier in WWII. Just like in X-Men: The Last Stand, Logan gets some kind of treatment to prolong his life, thus easing his pain. A lot happened before he decided if he wanted to take it and if he really had a choice.
Wolverine suffers somewhat due to the sometimes confusing timeline of the X-Men movies, but highlights important chapters of Logan's life from the comics. Unlike "X-Men: Origins: Wolverine," "The Wolverine" is available to stream on Disney+, so it's easy to watch alongside many other X-Men films. It's also available to rent for $3.99 or buy for $14.99 Digital marketplaces, including Amazon, YouTube, and Microsoft.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014) - Disney+
One of the most beloved X-Men movies—and certainly the most popular of the second trilogy—X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to at least somewhat The timeline of the original X-Men film trilogy and the new First Class trilogy. The story finds the "original" X-Men, including Professor X, Magneto, and Storm, battling Doomsday in the future and needing to send Wolverine (with the help of Katie Pryde) back in time so their Combat becomes possible.
The combination of the two actors is excellent, with Wolverine having a lot of interactions to make fun of. Given its popularity, it's good to know that X-Men: Days of Future Past is available to stream on Disney+. It's also available to rent for $3.99 on any video marketplace, or $14.99 on Apple TV, Amazon, Microsoft, DirecTV, or AMC On Demand.

X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) - Disney+
X-Men: Apocalypse's intricate plot and unfortunate use of prosthetics on Oscar Isaac as it sends new Xavier students to 1983. While callbacks to the 1980s added some excellent Mixing in humor and watching an overwhelmed Apocalypse and his four horsemen attempt to destroy the world in questionable CGI takes away a lot of the character elements that made Days of Future Past so successful.
Perhaps because of the poor reception, X-Men: Apocalypse is one of the most streamable X-Men movies, available on Disney+, fuboTV, FX Now, and DirecTV. The movie is also available to rent for $3.99 or buy for $14.99 on almost any marketplace from Amazon to Vudu.
Watch on Disney+^ The first non-Wolverine spin-off in Fox's X-Men universe was 2016's Deadpool, which featured Ryan Reynolds in the titular role as he reprises an alternate version of Wayne. De Wilson, this is his previous role in X-Men in Man Origins: Wolverine. Deadpool brought the character back to his comic book roots, and aptly introduced the fourth-wall-breaking Merc-With-A-Mouth in an R-rated movie, which led to the character's upcoming appearance in the MCU's Deadpool 3 unique survival. ^Those who want to watch the first Deadpool movie have plenty of options, as the movie is currently streaming on Disney+, fuboTV, FX Now, and DirecTV. The last, and certainly the best, of the Wolverine solo films, finds Logan as an elderly man caring for an aging and sickly Professor X. Both go into hiding from the mutants as the dystopian future finally materializes. A quarter of a century has passed since any new mutants were born on Earth. When Laura, a young girl who also happens to be a mutant, shows up at his door, it's Logan's duty to protect her and try to find a safe place on Earth.
The film was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Academy Awards, so it's no surprise that Disney wants to keep its popularity alive, and Logan is only available on Disney+. The film is available to rent for $3.99 almost anywhere, but fans will be happy to know it's currently available on Vudu for $4.99. It might just be a short-term discount until the film returns, though. It costs $14.99 on other services. ^Watch on Disney+^Ryan Reynolds returns for 2018 hit sequel 'Deadpool 2,' drawing even more on the dark humor and meta-pop culture references that made the original a hit , while also introducing other characters from the comics, such as Cable and Domino, played by Josh Brolin and Zazz Beetz respectively. Deadpool 2 also hilariously satirized Ryan Reynolds' past superhero choices and caused further confusion in the X-Men franchise's timeline, proving that Deadpool should never have control of a time machine.
Logan (2017) - Disney+
For those who want to watch the first and second movies back-to-back, Deadpool 2 is streaming on Disney+, FX Now, and DirecTV. It can be rented from almost any source for $3.99, but Deadpool 2 is one of the most expensive X-Men movies out there, at $19.99 on all video purchases.

Clearly, "Dark Phoenix Saga" is next to impossible to see on the big screen. Dark Phoenix couldn't make up for the failed attempts to adapt iconic comic book storylines before X-Men: Apocalypse or X-Men: The Last Stand. Although the film ended the X-Men franchise on a low note Note that the future of the X-Men promises to be even brighter as 20th Century Fox and Marvel move forward together.
Deadpool 2 (2018) - Disney+
Currently, Dark Phoenix is available on Disney+, fuboTV, and DirecTV, similar to most recent X-Men releases. Despite being less popular, Dark Phoenix is as expensive to rent and buy as Deadpool 2, with the option to rent from almost any video source for $3.99 or buy for $19.99. ^Watch on Disney+^ While Josh Boone's adaptation of The New Mutants was shot a few years ago, it didn't hit theaters until 2020 after 20th Century Fox's sale to Disney, The film was previously on hold due to plans for a reshoot, which was never enacted. The film explored the next generation of mutants, but its reviews and fan response were lukewarm at best.
Like Dark Phoenix, The New Mutants is currently streaming on Disney+, fuboTV, and DirecTV. The film is also available to rent for $3.99 or buy for $19.99 on Amazon, Vudu, Microsoft, DirecTV or AMC on Demand.
