Once the player completes the main story, they are free to explore.

6/10 Kenshi

Kenshi is an absolute nightmare to play, and has more risks than most survival games. The game is primarily known for its frenzied combat, after which players can actually lose limbs in combat.

The same goes for many of the game's bosses, which can overwhelm players as they keep fighting the same boss over and over again.
2/10 Monster Hunter: World

Combat ranges from standard to very difficult, depending on The monster the player is fighting with. It's better to know what monsters to hunt than to explore occasionally, as this can be an incredibly unforgiving world.
1/10 Metro Exodus

Survival horror games are always the most stressful games, Metro Exodus being another example. Finding food, getting the right clothes for certain weather, and fending off monsters can all be a nightmare.
