'Stranger Things' gets beaten by surprise show on 2022's most-watched list
TV Time has revealed its subscribers' most-watched shows in 2022, and surprisingly, one anime beat out Netflix's Stranger Things season 4 for the top spot.
TV Time, the social media platform that millions of users use to keep track of the movies and shows they watch, has revealed the most-watched show by its user base for 2022, with the winner beating out Netflix's hugely popular "Stranger Things" in a surprise move. Season 4 of the critically acclaimed show opens in two parts in summer 2022, making it the most-watched English-language show in Netflix history. Season 4 alone racked up more than 1 billion hours watched in its first 28 days of release. Season 5 will be the show's last, but a release date has yet to be set.
